How I teach

I'm Leriem Ferhat, and I teach maths the way I wish someone had taught it to me.

Most students who come to me don't need more questions. They need someone to notice that the reason quadratics aren't working is something that went wrong two years earlier. That's where I start — finding the point where it stopped making sense, and rebuilding from there.

I'd rather a student understood why a method works than memorised it. It's slower for a fortnight and much faster after that.
